1. We, VERO sp. z o.o., based in Dobrodzień, are the administrators of your personal data. In the remainder of this Privacy Policy, we refer to ourselves in the first person or as “Administrator” or “We”. 

 

2. Our registration files are kept by the District Court in Opole, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register. We are entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under number 78910. Our tax identification number (NIP) is 576-144-95-32. Our share capital is PLN 50,000. Our records contain the most important information about us, e.g. financial statements or our articles of association.

§2 Terms used in the Privacy Policy

If in the further part of our Privacy Policy you notice one of the following terms capitalized, you should understand it according to the definitions below:

 

Shop” – the online shop whose main website is located at https://www.vero.pl/,

 

Policy” – means this document, or privacy policy, which you are reading,

 

RODO” – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. The text of the RODO can be found here,

 

Social media” – the social network Facebook and other social networks where we have our profiles.

§3 Security of personal data

1. All personal data that you provide in the Shop or that we collect about you during your use of the Shop we process as Administrator in accordance with the RODO.

 

2. We use the technical measures required by current data protection legislation to prevent unauthorised persons from obtaining and modifying personal data transmitted electronically, i.e. within our Store.

§4 Your rights concerning your personal data

1. We process your personal data and therefore:

 

(a) you have the right to access your personal data,


b) you can have your personal data rectified,

 

c) you can request the deletion of your personal data where this is allowed by the RODO,

 

d) you have the right to restrict processing, to the extent specified in the RODO.

 

 

2. In Parts II – IV of the Policy, you will find information about additional rights. Indeed, in certain situations, you will have additional options.

§5 Right of objection

1. Once you have provided us with your personal data or if we have collected it ourselves, you can exercise your right to object. You have this in two situations where we process your personal data:

 

a) for direct marketing purposes – you do not need to justify such an objection,

 

b) on the basis of our other legitimate interests – such an objection requires justification of your particular situation. Write us why we should not process your data.

§6 Complaint to the President of the Data Protection Authority

If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data and its website is available at this address: https://uodo.gov.pl/

In order to respond to your message and resolve the issue you have presented.

This is voluntary. Without providing your contact details, we may not be able to resolve the case you have presented.

For the time it takes to resolve the matter you have presented. Depending on the nature of the case, also for the time needed to demonstrate that we have resolved it, i.e. the statute of limitations for claims.

§9 Account registration in the Shop

If you make use of these options in our Shop please note the following:

 

 

a) Why do we need your data, i.e. for what purpose do we process it?

 

 

1. the performance of the contract for setting up an account in the Shop and individual product sales contracts,

 

 

2. marketing by matching your previous actions in the Shop, we may, for example, present you with a list of products in the Shop which may be of interest to you or encourage you to continue shopping which you have not completed,

 

 

3. marketing by promoting us, our goods and our services to you by sending marketing information to you by email or text message to your telephone number or by telephone calls to you, analysing whether you read our newsletters and which content you read most. On this basis, we may also tailor newsletter content to your interests.

 

 

b) What rights do you have?

 

 

We have described these in § 4 and 5 of the Policy. You can also exercise your right to portability of your personal data under the terms of the RODO.

 

 

c) Do you have to provide us with your data?

 

 

This is on a voluntary basis. However, without providing them, you will not be able to set up an account with the Store or enter into sales contracts through the Store. You will also not be able to subscribe to our newsletter or receive commercial information from us, including during phone calls.

 

 

d) On what legal basis do we process your data?

 

 

1. 6(1)(b) and (f) RODO, i.e. the performance of the contract we enter into with you and our legitimate interest.

 

 

2. if you consent to receive marketing communications to your e-mail address, telephone number or during telephone calls, the legal basis will also be Article 10 of the Act on the provision of electronic services and Article 172 of the Telecommunications Act. Remember that you can always revoke your consent. If you wish to do so, please contact us.

 

 

e) What is our legitimate interest?

 

 

If you sign up to our newsletter, our legitimate interest is to improve our newsletter by analysing whether you read the content and which news items you are most interested in, and to tailor the content of our newsletter to your interests.

 

 

Our legitimate interest will also be to carry out the marketing activities described in a.2) above.

 

 

f) To whom will we pass your data?

 

 

1. to providers of tools for:

 

 

a) website traffic analytics,

 

 

b) carrying out marketing,

 

 

c) sending newsletters and marketing text messages.

 

 

2. to the payment operators available on our website.

 

 

3. to couriers, postal services and courier label generation services.

 

 

4. entities hosting (storing) the Shop and personal data for us.

 

 

5. to accounting or law firms.

 

 

6. entities involved in marketing the Store and managing the platform on which the Store has been implemented.

 

 

g) How long will we process your data?

 

 

For the duration of:

 

 

1. the duration of the contract for setting up an account in the Shop, the individual sales contracts and the time necessary to demonstrate that we have performed them correctly. This time corresponds to the length of the limitation period for claims;

 

 

2. for marketing activities consisting of sending newsletters, marketing text messages, as well as making telephone calls for these purposes, or until you express your objection to further data processing for the purpose of improving the newsletter, or revoke your consent to sending messages to your e-mail address or telephone number, or making voice calls to this number for marketing purposes. Your revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to the withdrawal of consent.

 

 

h) Will we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area?

2. marketing by matching content to your previous actions in the Store, we may, for example, present you with a list of products in the Store that may interest you or encourage you to continue shopping that you have not completed,

 

3. marketing by promoting us, our goods and our services to you by sending marketing information to you by email or text message to your telephone number or by telephone calls to you, analysing whether you read our newsletters and which content you read most. On this basis, we may also tailor newsletter content to your interests.

 

b) What rights do you have?

 

We have described these in § 4 and 5 of the Policy. You can also exercise your right to portability of your personal data under the terms of the RODO.

 

c) Do you have to provide us with your data?

 

This is on a voluntary basis. Without providing them, you will not be able to conclude a sales contract via the Shop. You will also not be able to subscribe to our newsletter or receive commercial information from us, including during phone calls.

1. 6(1)(b) and (f) RODO, i.e. the performance of the contract we enter into with you and our legitimate interest.

 

2. If you consent to receive marketing communications to your email address, telephone number or during telephone calls, the legal basis will also be Article 10 of the Act on the provision of electronic services and Article 172 of the Telecommunications Act. Remember that you can always revoke your consent. If you wish to do so, please contact us.

1. necessary for the performance of the sales contract and the time to demonstrate that we have performed it correctly. This time corresponds to the length of the limitation period for claims,

 

2. to carry out marketing activities consisting of sending newsletters, marketing text messages, and making telephone calls for these purposes, or until you object to further processing for the purposes of improving the newsletter, or you revoke your consent to sending messages to your e-mail address or telephone number, or making voice calls to this number for marketing purposes. Your revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to the withdrawal of consent.

§11 Use of our social media profiles

If you use our profile, please note the following:

 

a) Why do we need your data, i.e. for what purpose do we process it?

 

1. to reply to private messages you send us,

 

2. to engage in discussions with you in the comments under individual posts,

 

3. to share our posts with you as a follower of our profile,

 

4. marketing by informing you about our services and ourselves through posts we make on our profile, including sponsored posts which are displayed to a wider range of social media users,

 

5. statistical, in that social media providers, such as Facebook Ireland Ltd. present us with data about the display of our posts, their reach, the number of interactions, the demographics of our followers; the data presented to us by social media providers is statistical, but is created on the basis of their observations of your behaviour on our profile.

 

b) What rights do you have?

 

We have described these in § 4 and 5 of the Policy.

 

c) Do you have to provide us with your data?

 

This is voluntary. However, due to the rules applied by Social media, we will see your name (or nickname) and photo if you write to us or comment on our post.

 

d) On what legal basis do we process your data?

 

Article 6(1)(f) RODO, i.e. our legitimate interest.

 

e) What is our legitimate interest?

 

Responding to your messages and comments, providing you with posts, informing you about our services and ourselves through them, analysing statistical data related to our profile.

 

f) To whom will we pass your data?

 

1. to social media providers, such as in particular Facebook Ireland Ltd.

2. to entities that run our social media profiles for us.

 

g) How long will we process your data?

 

For the period of time:


1. the time it takes to resolve the case you have presented. Depending on the nature of the case, also for the time needed to demonstrate that we have resolved it, i.e. the period of the statute of limitations for claims,

 

2. for the time that you are following our profile. Remember that you can always delete your comments under our posts, stop following us or cancel your social media account.

§12 Entering the Shop website

Entering the Shop website involves us processing the information contained in cookies. On the principles described below.

§13 What are cookies and why do we use them?

1. In the Shop we use cookies, i.e. small text information stored on your terminal device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone). Cookies can be read by the Shop. Want to know more about cookies? Take a look at Wikipedia at this link.

 

 

2. We store cookies on your computer, phone or tablet and access the information contained in them for the purposes of:

 

 

a) ensuring the correct operation of the service, including maintaining your session,

 

 

b) marketing by making the content more relevant to your previous browsing activity, for example by presenting you with a list of products in the Shop which may be of interest to you or encouraging you to continue shopping where you have not yet done so,

 

 

c) marketing by displaying advertisements of our products to you on other websites, including social media sites, in a way which is relevant to the products you have viewed in the Shop,

 

 

d) marketing by displaying advertisements for our products to you on the website containing your email inbox once you have logged into your email inbox; the advertisements will be matched to the products you have viewed in the Shop; this method of displaying advertisements consists of presenting them in the space provided by your email service provider once you have logged into your email inbox; you will not receive any emails from us as part of this activity,

 

 

e) for statistical purposes, in particular to enable us to analyse your use of the Store.

 

 

3. In the cases described in points b-e above, the processing of your personal data may take place:

 

a) their processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest, i.e. Article 6(1)(f) RODO,

 

b) our legitimate interest is to carry out marketing of our products that you have viewed in our Store and to match the advertisements displayed to you with your previous activities in the Store, as well as to collect statistical data about your use of our Store in order to optimise its performance, including the layout of the content displayed to you and other users,

 

c) we have set out your rights in relation to this processing in § 4 and 5 of the Policy,

 

d) remember that you can contact us at any time and object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes. You do not need to justify this objection,

 

e) we will pass on your personal data to advertising network operators, including social networks and your email service provider,

 

(f) we will retain them for the duration of these marketing activities or until you object to further processing for marketing purposes,

 

g) the provision of this personal data is voluntary and there are no negative consequences if you do not provide it, e.g. by using appropriate blocking software; you will not then see advertisements for our products that are tailored to your activities in the Shop, including the goods you are viewing.

§14 Types of cookies

There are several types of cookies in the Shop:

 

a) session cookies, which remain in the memory of your web browser until you switch it off,

 

b) permanent, which remain in your browser’s memory until you delete them,

 

c) external, which come from our Shop’s analytics tool providers.

§16 Impact of changing your browser settings on the use of the Shop

Changing your browser configuration to one that prevents or restricts the storage of cookies may result in restrictions on the functionality of the Store. Deleting cookies in the course of providing a service may lead to similar consequences. This means that some of our services will not be available without cookies, for example you will not be able to log into the Shop.

§17 External cookies

1. The cookies placed on your computer, phone or tablet may come from other service providers. You can delete them yourself from your device. These cookies are stored on your device for varying lengths of time, depending on the cookie in question.

 

2. We use services provided by Hotjar Limited (Level 2, St Julian’s Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian’s STJ 1000, Malta). These services help us to analyse the traffic on the Shop. From these we obtain statistics and analytical data showing how you and other users use the Store.

 

3. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager services provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). These services help us analyse the traffic on the Shop. 3. marketing by promoting us, our goods and our services to you by sending marketing information to you by email or text message to your telephone number or by telephone calls to you, analysing whether you read our newsletters and which content you read most. On this basis, we may also tailor newsletter content to your interests.

 

b) What rights do you have?

 

We have described these in § 4 and 5 of the Policy. You can also exercise your right to portability of your personal data under the terms of the RODO.

 

c) Do you have to provide us with your data?

 

This is on a voluntary basis. Without providing them, you will not be able to conclude a sales contract via the Shop. You will also not be able to subscribe to our newsletter or receive commercial information from us, including during phone calls.

 

d) On what legal basis do we process your data?

 

1. 6(1)(b) and (f) RODO, i.e. the performance of the contract we enter into with you and our legitimate interest.

If you consent to receive marketing communications to your email address, telephone number or during telephone calls, the legal basis will also be Article 10 of the Act on the provision of electronic services and Article 172 of the Telecommunications Act. Remember that you can always revoke your consent. If you wish to do so, please contact us.

 

e) What is our legitimate interest?

 

If you sign up to our newsletter, our legitimate interest is to improve our newsletter by analysing whether you read the content and which news items you are most interested in, and to tailor the content of our newsletter to your interests.

 

Our legitimate interest will also be to carry out the marketing activities described in a.2) above.

 

f) To whom will we pass your data?

 

1. to providers of tools for:

 

a) website traffic analytics,

 

b) carrying out marketing,

 

c) sending newsletters and marketing text messages.

4. Entities hosting (storing) the Shop and personal data for us.

g) How long will we process your data?

 

For a period of time:

 

1. necessary for the performance of the sales contract and the time to demonstrate that we have performed it correctly. This time corresponds to the length of the limitation period for claims,

 

2. to carry out marketing activities consisting of sending newsletters, marketing text messages, and making telephone calls for these purposes, or until you object to further processing for the purposes of improving the newsletter, or you revoke your consent to sending messages to your e-mail address or telephone number, or making voice calls to this number for marketing purposes. Your revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to the withdrawal of consent.

Part III - our social media profiles.

§11 Use of our social media profiles

If you use our profile, please note the following:

 

a) Why do we need your data, i.e. for what purpose do we process it?

 

1. to reply to private messages you send us,

 

2. to engage in discussions with you in the comments under individual posts,

 

3. to share our posts with you as a follower of our profile,

 

4. marketing by informing you about our services and ourselves through posts we make on our profile, including sponsored posts which are displayed to a wider range of social media users,

 

5. statistical, in that social media providers, such as Facebook Ireland Ltd. present us with data about the display of our posts, their reach, the number of interactions, the demographics of our followers; the data presented to us by social media providers is statistical, but is created on the basis of their observations of your behaviour on our profile.

This is voluntary. However, due to the rules applied by Social media, we will see your name (or nickname) and photo if you write to us or comment on our post.

Responding to your messages and comments, providing you with posts, informing you about our services and ourselves through them, analysing statistical data related to our profile.

1. to social media providers, such as in particular Facebook Ireland Ltd.

g) How long will we process your data?

 

For the period of time:


1. the time it takes to resolve the case you have presented. Depending on the nature of the case, also for the time needed to demonstrate that we have resolved it, i.e. the period of the statute of limitations for claims,

 

2. for the time that you are following our profile. Remember that you can always delete your comments under our posts, stop following us or cancel your social media account.

§12 Entering the Shop website

Entering the Shop website involves us processing the information contained in cookies. On the principles described below.

§13 What are cookies and why do we use them?

b) our legitimate interest is to carry out marketing of our products that you have viewed in our Store and to match the advertisements displayed to you with your previous activities in the Store, as well as to collect statistical data about your use of our Store in order to optimise its performance, including the layout of the content displayed to you and other users,

 

c) we have set out your rights in relation to this processing in § 4 and 5 of the Policy,

 

d) remember that you can contact us at any time and object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes. You do not need to justify this objection,

 

e) we will pass on your personal data to advertising network operators, including social networks and your email service provider,

 

(f) we will retain them for the duration of these marketing activities or until you object to further processing for marketing purposes,

 

g) the provision of this personal data is voluntary and there are no negative consequences if you do not provide it, e.g. by using appropriate blocking software; you will not then see advertisements for our products that are tailored to your activities in the Shop, including the goods you are viewing.

§14 Types of cookies

There are several types of cookies in the Shop:

 

a) session cookies, which remain in the memory of your web browser until you switch it off,

 

b) permanent, which remain in your browser’s memory until you delete them,

§16 Impact of changing your browser settings on the use of the Shop

Changing your browser configuration to one that prevents or restricts the storage of cookies may result in restrictions on the functionality of the Store. Deleting cookies in the course of providing a service may lead to similar consequences. This means that some of our services will not be available without cookies, for example you will not be able to log into the Shop.
